  the way it looks now. For decades, we've been pursuing the same prescr
 iptions, chasing the same artifacts, and making the same arguments. We'
 ve become comfortable with them, and to some extent, we've become comfo
 rtable with it not happening. That's OK, though. We just keep plugging 
 away. AI changes all that.\n\nData Governance as a discipline now stands na
 ked (metaphorically speaking, of course). We can no longer hide behind the 
 same old busywork: collecting metadata, negotiating business glossaries, cr
 eating data models, etc. Everything that we now do is being considered thro
 ugh the lens of AI, and much of it can be delivered through AI. Or at least
  get us most of the way there. We are the dog that caught the car. What do 
 we do now?\n\nOur discipline is at an inflection point. In this keynote, Jo
 hn Ladley and Mark Cooper will build the bridge from Data Governance as it&
 #39;s always been practiced to the future we've always said that we wan
 ted.\n
