Conference Policies

SOLICITATION: Solicitation at the event is strictly prohibited. Only paid sponsors who have permission from the event organizers will be authorized to solicit attendees, and only within the guidelines provided to each sponsor within their sponsorship package.

PHOTOGRAPHY: DATAVERSITY reserves the right to use photographs of any event attendee or speaker for future promotions. Videotaping and/or photography are not allowed without the prior written approval of DATAVERSITY.

PAYMENT POLICY: All registration fees must be paid in U.S. Dollars. Full payment must be made prior to attendance at the conference or prior to receiving access credentials for online sessions. It is a strict policy that only U.S. Government employees may submit training authorization forms in lieu of prepayment. Our Federal ID Number is 45-4292400.

CONFIRMATION: Registrations will be confirmed by email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact registration@dataversity.net.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations received by October 16, 2026, will be fully refunded. Cancellations on or after October 17, 2026, will not be entitled to a refund but can receive credit toward a future event. Credit must be used within 2 years of the date it is issued. To cancel your registration, please email registration@dataversity.net. Confirmed registrants who do not attend and do not cancel in writing are liable for the entire registration fee. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.

In the unlikely circumstance that DATAVERSITY is forced to cancel or postpone the event for any reason beyond our control on or after October 17, 2026, no refunds will be made. Instead, a registration credit will be offered that may be used for future in-person or digital events or digital training. Credit must be used within 2 years of the date it is issued.

SCHEDULE UPDATES: DATAVERSITY aims to keep the schedule as published; however, changes are sometimes necessary, most often due to a speaker's availability. In the event a speaker must cancel, we will make every effort to secure a replacement on the same or a similar topic, though this cannot always be guaranteed. Any resulting adjustments to the agenda will be published as soon as possible.

ATTENDEE LIST: If you receive a message offering access to an attendee list for any of our events, please be aware that this is not a genuine offer. The only organization with access to the list of event attendees is DATAVERSITY, and we do not sell or rent this list to anyone -  see our privacy policy for details.

If you receive an email offering a DGIQ + AIGov attendee list, please don't respond, even to unsubscribe. Responding confirms your email address is active, which can lead to more unwanted contact.

CONFERENCE HOTEL: Any company claiming to be the "official" DGIQ + AIGov housing partner, offering special non-refundable rates, and asking for credit card information is a scam. Do not engage. To book your room at the conference hotel, please use our Venue/Travel page. No one from the Omni Providence Hotel will ever call you directly to offer bookings or discounts.
